Thick 70% wool / 30% cotton material covers the top of the hat.

I bought this hat for my future daughter-in-law. She loves it and the quality is excellent. I have the leather naval officer's ushanka and this hat feels lighter in weight, but appears to be just as warm. The white sheepskin wool looks very classy against the tan hat. Great experience with Ushanka.com again!

This is my first ushanka and it is so soft and comfortable! I ordered the wrong size but caught it in time. I sent a message and they got right back to me in no time and upsized my hat (even though they were on vacation). Super friendly staff, very responsive. I hope it stays cold so I can wear it outside, but even if it warms up I'll still probably wear it!! Thank you guys!!

I measured my extra large head and was able to get a perfect fitting Ushanka. I most strongly recommend this sheepskin ushanka. (I got the Navy insignia because I am retired U.S.Navy)

This Ushanka is attractive, warm, and rugged. I bought the rabbit fur as well which is nice but sheds a lot and is more of a dress hat imo.

I’m very happy with my white sheepskin ushanka. It looks just as advertised. Simple and elegant, I chose to order mine without an insignia. I feel the ushanka speaks for itself. It’s perfect and clean as snow! I’m ready to be camouflaged.

Like the other ushanka's on this site hat is comfortable, super warm and fits perfectly to size. The color is a nice natural white, very slightly cream, rather than a brilliant bleached white. The photos are a good representation of how it looks.

This hat is a pure, brilliant kind of white. I attached the current issue Navy officer's insignia from here to this hat as well, and they go nicely together. I'm pleased with the purchase
