Shepherd’s hat or Highlander papakha is a Caucasian hat, sometimes referred to as the ‘people’s’ hat. It is comfortable while grazing livestock and when needed can be used as a pillow.
It is made from shaggy sheepskin, curls may get down to the forehead and cover the eyes.
The fur is of original color and length, it was not dyed or cut. Fur shades and fur length will vary naturally from hat to hat.
