Even tho it is summer and it’s a hot one, thinking forward to a potentially bitter cold winter in so many months. I’ve owned other winter hats from Ushanka and other companies. Ushanka makes the BEST fur hats!! Could not be happier with this purchase!!

This sheepskin Ushanka has gotten me a lot of compliments at Church and the Office. The sheepskin is thick and incredibly warm, so much so that when New England was hit with an Arctic Wind Storm my head and face stayed warm when I was outside. I had an issue with my original order and Dmitry took excellent care of the situation. He is a blessed fellow! I highly recommended this Ushanka to all my friends at the Liturgy.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hat. I have had it for almost a year now and I still love it. If anything, it's almost too warm! I can't wear it for more than ten minutes if the temperatures are above 20 F and sunny (if it's above freezing, I don't even try). I almost never have to tie the flaps down under my chin -- the only time I do is when I'm snowshoeing at high altitudes in the cold and wind! I keep trying to think of reasons to buy more of these for myself, but the quality is so great I don't think I will ever need to!

I’m very happy with my ushanka, it’s more comfortable than I could have imagined! When I got it and tried it on I immediately wanted to wear it for the rest of the day. This will be my go to hat this winter to keep the snow off my head, and it is definitely more stylish than a watch cap. Really quick delivery as well!

This is my second hat from this site and I am still impressed with customer service and quality of the hats! I will say for me personally I like my hats a bit loose, and to make sure you size up if you are of that faction (big head was well fit in a 64). These are incredibly warm, to the point where you can really only wear them in freezing weather, and work perfectly for that and any outdoor winter activity.

The hat is even better than in the photos. It is very soft, very comfortable, and, it is very warm. I love it. I recommend this hat for anyone who lives in cold areas.

I recently purchased the Dark Brown Sheepskin. I've been looking for one since most of my coats are brown. This one is perfect. It goes great with my 1050's Harris Tweed overcoat and also my duffle coat. I ordered a slightly larger size, but after following the instructions online, it shrank slightly, and is now a perfect fit. Not to mention, it's very well made and worth the price. Was a bit nervous about buying this online and from this company, but everything came as expected and on time. Hat has been absolutely wonderful. Only complaint is than now I overheat almost immediately indoors 🙂 but it is wonderful for my windy canyon mornings. Highly recommend!

Sheepskin Ushanka is right on as far as sizing. Hat is extra warm and acts as a heater for rest of body.

After perusing the site for a couple of years, finally pulled the trigger on the brown sheepskin. I like things a little different and the brown seems to be less common than the black or bluish-grey. Ordered on Friday, came on Monday, just one state over. I wear high-end fedoras and take American 7 3/4 but I got a surplus ushanka before in 2x and it was way too small. So I ordered this hat in 64 (8), the biggest size offered, and it just fits me. Included flyer indicates the hat can be stretched a little and I'll try that for a little breathing room. Hat appears to be good quality and looks and feels great. Am planning a journey to Aniakchak in the Aleutians and will wear this to the volcano. Also purchased sheepskin mittens and they too appear well-made. Unless there's a quality issue with the ushanka down the road, I'll probably pick up a karaukal next year. One suggestion-offer the hats in sizes over 64.

I gave this ushanka to someone who isn't really a hat person, but who is a fan of staying warm in WI winters! It arrived promptly (consistent with what other reviewers have said) and was precisely the color, style, and material expected. Every time we go out and he sees me adjust my earmuffs which never keep still, he offers me his ushanka for my (much smaller) head. This is his way of saying that the hat is a success. Seeing how he gets on, I may get one for myself. In short, the ushanka come heartily recommended-- just save one for me!

The first order was sent in a different color than the one I ordered. When I returned it, the correct color was sent out promptly. I am a happy customer.

WOW, I ordered the natural colored Sheepskin for my girlfriend on Wed night and just received delivery Sat morning. Dmitry is an absolute gentleman to deal with and very accommodating. I ordered 2 hats and 3 insignia badges, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items. The hats are solidly built and are relatively heavy, which I think is great. The mouton is very soft and feels great against my face. I can't wait for winter to unleash it's wrath so I can put them to the test. The insignia look great as well and compliment the hats. I got my brown lamb fur ushanka about a month ago, promptly after my order. Since then, I have worn it almost every day. This winter has been exceptionally cold and snowy in Virginia breaking numerous snow records. I have worn my ushanka for 2 hours at a time in 15F temperatures with 40 mph windgusts while clearing my house and property and neighbor's houses of snow and ice. Despite the extreme conditions, I have always had a warm and comfortable head. The ushanka is an oustanding winter hat!
