I love my Ushanka. Just got it today and I love the fit on it. This is my second one owned and I don’t regret the purchases at all.

I can't even tell you how happy I am with this purchase. The quality of this hat is amazing and Dimitri and the entire staff at Ushanka are the best. I had problems sizing My first hat and Dimitri was very helpful in getting me the right size and the right hat. I am so looking forward to next winter. If you in the market for anything Russian; hats, gloves etc this is a place to go you will not be disappointed.

The hat is beautiful and distinctive. My son will put it on his head only at Christmas, so I do not have his impressions yet.

In my case, the owner was quick to answer my question, the item was shipped the next morning, and it arrived quickly—2 days later. The product itself appears to be very good quality and fits well (just follow the directions on how to measure your size on the website and be sure to add that extra cm, as instructed, and to go add another cm if the resulting measurement is in between sizes. I worried the hat might be a bit big if I did this but it fits really well). It seems like it will be nice and warm but I haven’t yet had an occasion to really test that out. I also recommend that you purchase this because it appears to be authentic and isn’t yet another cheap product of China. I also recommend buying directly from the seller instead of on Amazon. It will save you money and it supports what I assume is a relatively small business.

I bought a ushanka from another company only to realize that it was not what I wanted. Then I discovered ushanka.com, and here I found what I wanted, in three versions. I called and spoke to Dmitri who answered all of my questions and helped me to find the right one. Shipping was very fast coming from the US rather than Russia or the Ukraine. I recommend this site.
